Book PremiumLooking for mini donkeys near Knoxville? Cedar Pond Farms in New Market — about 25 minutes from Knoxville and handy to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge — is home to three Jerusalem mini donkeys, none taller than three feet at the back. Jack-Jack is our jack, and Daisy and Poppy are his two girlfriends — and all three will meet you at the fence like you're the most interesting thing to happen all week.
They are famously friendly, endlessly food-motivated, and — ask anyone who's met them — happiest when someone scratches them right on the rump. They join the farm experiences, photograph beautifully next to a wedding dress, and are exactly eye-level with your smallest farmers. See the rest of the pasture crew on Meet the Herd and the working campus on The Farm.
