What you get when you say yes to texts from the farm — and how to make them stop.

These terms cover the Cedar Pond Farms text-message (SMS) program. By ticking the consent box on one of our forms, you agree to what is written here.
Cedar Pond Farms sends text messages to guests who ask for them. Depending on what you signed up for, that means booking confirmations, visit reminders, waiver and check-in links, updates about a booking you already have, and — only if you asked for it — occasional farm news such as seasonal openings and events.
You opt in by ticking the text-message consent box on a Cedar Pond Farms form and giving us your mobile number. The box is never ticked for you, and agreeing to texts is never a condition of booking, buying, or attending anything. You can book with us and never receive a single text.
We keep a record of each consent — the date, the number, and the exact wording you agreed to.
Message frequency varies. It depends on your bookings and what you signed up for — a guest with a visit on the calendar hears from us more than one who does not. Most guests receive a handful of messages around a visit, and farm news no more than a few times a month.
Message and data rates may apply. Those are charged by your mobile carrier under your own plan, not by Cedar Pond Farms. We never charge you for a text.
Reply STOP to any message from us and we will stop texting that number. You will get one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after that.

Mobile phone numbers and text-message consent are never sold, rented, or shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Every category of information sharing described in our Privacy Policy excludes text-messaging opt-in data and consent. The only company that handles your number is our messaging carrier, and only so the message can reach your phone.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and your device, and we cannot guarantee that every message arrives.
If we change this program we will post the updated terms on this page and change the date at the top. Continuing to receive texts after a change means you accept the updated terms.
